Who We Are
GW RAGE is the Reproductive Justice and sex positivity organization at George Washington University in Washington, DC. Founded in 2001, we exist to educate the university community about reproductive justice, to lead reproductive justice activism on campus and in the DC community, and to serve as a partner to local and national reproductive justice, health, and rights efforts. GW RAGE aims to uphold all aspects of the reproductive justice framework as established by SisterSong, including all intersections of feminism such as racial and economic justice. RAGE also strives to educate the university student body about sexual and reproductive health and promote a culture of sex positivity.
What We Do
Advocacy
GW RAGE advocates for reproductive justice, health, and rights on campus and beyond. Our advocacy includes both work to support local and national efforts for reproductive justice and work on campus to promote reproductive justice at GW.
Access
RAGE promotes access to sexual and reproductive healthcare on campus including sexual health materials, abortion, and emergency contraception. We are committed to continuing to expand and promote access to the full range of sexual and reproductive healthcare for everyone on GW’s campus.
Education
RAGE seeks to educate the GW community on reproductive justice, abortion justice, sexual health, and more. Through educational events, trainings, and tabling RAGE provides GW students with information on reproductive justice and sexual and reproductive health.
